Once you get into a fitness routine, you might worry about losing your progress if you take time off. However, taking a few days off from exercising is actually good for you and can help you reach your fitness goals in the long run.
On the other hand, taking too long of a break means you’ll start to lose the muscle and your fitness level what you’ve gained. How quickly this loss happens depends on several factors, including your pre-break fitness level , but this lockdown is a long enough break to deplete anyone's fitness level !so what can we do !

Yes ! You won't have the same appetite as you had while working out with weights or your regular lifestyle , that's why it's important to eat right portions with right nutrition **Keep proteins your top priority if you are looking to maintain that strength and muscle mass ! Studies show protein is key ingredients in maintaining muscle mass ! So yes keep it high **include good fats in your meals**wholesome carbs**lastly enough calories to maintain what you gained ! Too less of cals and you lose them , too high of cals you gain some weight ( according to your BMR ) .

Whole eggs , toast , peanuts & coffee .

Yesterday was a tricky day for workouts. I was tired and unmotivated, so got my mat, went outside and did it anyway. I needed a stretch and some time outside. If I wasn't doing 75 Hard, I would probably have got into bed and done nothing. Instead I spent time with Nick outside and actually felt so much better.

Yesterday was a carpark workout from home. One piece of equipment. The slam ball is versatile and can be used in so many ways. This is the straight slam catching on the bounce to make it more effective in the workout. The slam balls can be used for front squats, slam ball burpees, overshoulder throws, lunges, clean & press, squat cleans, weighted sit ups, even wall balls depending on the weight. Today we are again keeping it simple. Today’s programming response is overall cardio, not just from the run, which you should have marked, but from the dubs, basically changing the tempo of the cardio so your breathing and heart rate have to keep adjusting. These are some exercises which I do regularly to maintain and improve strength in my upper body. 
1. Pilaf Press 3 sets 10 reps 
The pilaf press is an anti rotation exercise. The band's resistance when you press out will make you want to rotate to where the band is anchored. You have to resist the rotation and keep your trunk in a neutral position. This will help build a more intact strong core which can take more impact. 
2. Mid Row 3 sets 10 reps
The row works the scapular muscles and the biceps. Start by setting your shoulder blades down and then back. Maintain this shoulder position as you perform the repetitions. This shoulder alignment will allow you to activate the right muscles throughout the movement. 
3. Overhead Extension 3 sets 10 reps 
The overhead extension works the triceps. You want to try and keep your elbows in as much as you can and maintain that position during each repetition. This again will allow you activate your triceps instead of your shoulder muscles

Energy system work definitely does have its place, especially in team sports BUT if you are trying to get FASTER, doing so under conditions of fatigue is NOT the answer. 
The difference between conditioning training and speed training comes down to distances, intensities and rest intervals. Short distance, high intensity, long rest protocols are when you are truly training SPEED. Remember you want to be at peak speed every rep. Therefore, sprinting in conditions of fatigue does not allow you to truly work on SPEED DEVELOPMENT.

Push ups can go so wrong so fast. Here’s some tips on how to perform them poorly
.
Reach your chin toward the ground so it gets there first
. 
Have your head cranked back so you can see in front of you .
Let your shoulder blades sag
.
Round your thoracic spine so you look nice and hunched .
Load mainly the outside portion of your hands
.
Have your hands out wide and let your arms come up high toward the ears
.
Let your pelvis sag toward the ground
.
Let the core take a time out as to look like a wet noodle coming off the ground
.
Do half reps

Haven’t done regular conditioning for a looong time. Since my regular routine is upended, I’m taking the opportunity to add conditioning back in. .

I’m still going to lift heavy where I can, but I’m looking to have a more well rounded program, including regular mobility and conditioning along with lifting. .

- Followed by a good 20 - 30 minute stretch ⁠
- If you're just jumping on the programming on this is your first/ second day, run the 5K as fast as you can on completion of your warm up⁠
- The 5K is a good moderate distance to measure your aerobic capacity, taking this into account, make sure you have completed a thorough 20-30 minute warm up before tackling the run.⁠

BLOOD FLOW RESTRICTION🩸

BFR training is gathering more and more evidence behind its beneficial effect to both aerobic and resistance training. The evidence suggests when using low loads, BFR can provide a better stimulus for hypertrophy and work capacity as their is a greater amount of metabolic stress at the local muscle site. This can have big applications in rehab where individuals are not able to tolerate high loads, BUT also for performance also an individual doesn’t have access to heavier loads (I.e. home training sessions) 👍🏻👍🏻

HOW TO DO IT:

1️⃣ grab a band, or anything elastic like to wrap around the proximal part of the limb (upper arm or upper thigh). .
.
2️⃣ tighten to about a 6-7/10 discomfort level, remember we don’t want to completely cut off blood supply, just enough to feel a difference.

3️⃣ use light loads and perform high amount of reps >15 with short amount of rest times between sets (30-60s)
